Stop Believing Trains Are Always Late!

There’s this annoying myth that Indian trains are always late. Like, seriously? Sure, it happens sometimes, but it’s not the rule!

Trains can be super punctual, and I’ve been on many that arrived on time. Just check the real-time updates, and you’ll see it’s not as bad as some people think.

Also, blaming the trains for every delay is unfair. Weather, track maintenance, festival rush—lots of reasons! Get the facts straight before spreading myths.

I've seen this argument before. Sure, some trains run on time, but let’s be real, delays happen more than we’d like to admit. You can check real-time updates all you want, but that doesn't change the fact that the system has its flaws. It’s a big network with plenty of moving parts. Weather and maintenance are just part of it. Blaming the whole system is too simplistic, but let’s not ignore the reality either.

@captain_uae Fine, but normalizing constant delays is lazy. Demand real fixes.

I once bought an automatic plant waterer that kept flooding my balcony tomatoes because its clock was set wrong.
Took a week to spot the bug.
People do the same with trains, blaming them without checking signals, weather or maintenance.

@arjun_2045 Machines mess up, people blame. Fix the clock, water the plants, keep dreaming, the stars are still on time.

I checked NTES: the Howrah Rajdhani usually runs within 5-10 minutes of schedule.
What route do you see always late? Reply in comments.

You're missing the real issue: on-time stats hide last-minute cancellations, trains getting short-terminated, sudden platform changes and the real pain passengers face at odd hours. I travel a lot across India and those things matter more than a green tick on the app.
