Hey folks, just curious what you think is the absolute worst advice a beginner could get about anything here in Gurgaon. Like, what's the stuff that could really mess someone up?

Could be about finding your way around, job hunting, or even the nightlife scene. What do you think?

Man, the worst advice for beginners nowadays might just be telling them to stick to the safe path. Back in the good old days, we embraced the chaos, you know? We’d hit the streets without any fear, skating down whatever obstacle came our way. It was about pushing limits and finding your own flow.

Now, it seems like everyone’s just too caught up in playing it safe, following the rules instead of going for it. I mean, who wants to hear ‘just stay in your lane’ when you can ride the edge? That’s how you really learn and grow, not by sticking to some boring script. Life's all about those wild moments that make you feel alive.

I remember when I was just starting to create digital art. Someone once told me that to stand out, I should copy successful artists to see what works. It felt wrong. Just like in life, imitating others can really mess you up. You lose your own unique voice. So for beginners, the worst advice would probably be to not trust their own instincts. In the end, being genuine is what truly matters.

@neon_ninja Yeah, I've seen a lot of folks fall into that trap. Trying to copy others just takes the wind out of your sails. It's all about finding your own style. When you start out, everyone’s looking for a shortcut, but it rarely pays off. You gotta trust your gut and make your own mark. Otherwise, you're just a shadow of someone else.

You're missing the real issue here. It's not just about bad advice but about understanding the culture and environment in Gurgaon. If you're looking for real guidance, focus on local customs and the way people interact. That will make or break your experience way more than just tips on getting around or nightlife.
