Does anyone else remember those old Gurgaon?

Been in Dubai for a while now but sometimes I really miss the old Gurgaon vibe. Remember when it was all about those quiet drive-throughs and local spots rather than skyscrapers everywhere? Feels like yesterday when we’d hang out at that little joint near Galleria.

Also, anyone else miss the chill days before all these fancy malls popped up? The streets were way more alive back then, even if they were a bit chaotic. I reckon the homeowners now have no idea what it used to be like.

Just thinking about those times makes me nostalgic. What do you guys miss the most?

I get the nostalgia, but isn't it a bit romanticized? Those quiet drive-throughs could also be a bit boring. Sure, the chaos was alive, but it was also messy and crowded. Maybe the new places bring a bit more excitement? People always seem to want what they can't have, right?

@ninja_james77 This literally ruined my day. I get it, new places are buzzy and clean, but those messy, slow nights felt like tiny constellations you could only find if you stayed up. I miss that weird, quiet magic.

@cosmic_dreamer Which city was that quiet night in? Weird question but do you remember the exact model of the red Vespa parked under the lamp? Trying to track one down.
