Why I’m Not Impressed with AI Art Generators

So, I’ve been messing around with these AI art generators everyone’s raving about. Honestly, what’s the hype all about? Yeah, they can whip up some trippy images but they totally miss the emotional depth that actual human artistry brings.

First off, the outputs often feel really generic. You can tell it’s all just algorithm-driven chaos. I mean, how many surreal landscapes can one person look at before it all blends together? And don’t even get me started on the licensing issues. Most of these tools have crazy restrictions that make it hard to use anything commercially.

Plus, there’s this big conversation about how they impact real artists. It’s kinda disheartening seeing someone’s hard work being overshadowed by a few clicks on a keyboard. At the end of the day, it’s just not the same vibe.
